MUGGED ON CENTER ICE

Inspired by the true life story of former hockey enforcer Allan Globensky. Drafted by the Montreal Junior Canadians at the age of 17,  it seems like a dream come true. However, they don’t want him for his playing skills, they want him to be an enforcer, ready to drop his gloves and fight to keep the “star talent” out of harm’s way. Allan accepts this compromise to play the game he loves and learns to embrace his new role and the attention and fame it brings, but always hoping he could be seen as something more. However, living a life of violence and pain begins to take a toll on him physically and mentally. With the game he loves slowly destroying him, Allan feels unable to escape.
